As violence climbs to new heights, Iraq and the region at large, is growing increasingly aware of the Iranian attempt, and complicity on the part of America, to dismantle and destabilise the country, exterminating any relative calm that could potentially blossom.
The question many Iraqis keep asking however is whether America can be so easily absolved of the role it plays in the region. Contrary to the above, the widely held view among Iraqis is that Iran and America are no allies but opponents vying for control of the same terrain. Nowhere is this more apparent than in Iraq over the course of the past thirteen years.
