FOREIGN RELATIONS BUREAU-IRAQ (“FRB-I”)
The destruction, occupation and current dismemberment of Iraq by Iranian backed regime and militias, remain absent from world media. Atrocities, human rights abuses and war crimes remain undocumented. The voices and views of millions of Iraqi nationalists both within and outside Iraq remain unheard.
A voice that is independent, patriotic, unbiased, with no commercial or ulterior motives to inform the world is needed more than ever before. FRB-IU intends to fulfil this role.

Membership
Membership is open to all those who are of Iraqi origin and who subscribe to the Objectives and Activities of FRB-IU
Application for Membership
1. Applications shall be submitted to the Secretary who shall refer them to the Council in its first meeting.
2. The applicant shall be nominated by an existing member.
3. Council's decisions are final and need not show reasons.
4. The Secretary shall inform the applicant of the Council's decision.
Resources
This consists of the membership fee paid by members together with unconditional contributions, donations and grants presented by individuals or organisations in addition to revenue accruing from activities.
Annual Membership Fee
The membership fee is £50 which is due on admission and thereafter annually on the 1st of January. Membership fees are not refundable upon cessation of membership.
Organisation of The Bureau
The Bureau shall function through General Meeting and Executive Committee.
A. The General Meeting
1. Which is the supreme authority of the Bureau, shall consist of all members who have paid their annual membership fee.
2. The General Meeting shall be held during the month of May of each year. Members shall be given three weeks’ notice to attend.
3. The quorum shall be the absolute majority, or any number of members attending after the lapse of half an hour from the time designated if still no quorum is achieved.
4. Voting shall be by show of hands or if demanded by secret ballot, and counting of votes shall be in public.
5. The General Meeting shall:
i. approve the annual budget following debate by the Committee.
ii. Discuss the activity of the Bureau for the past year and approve a program of activity for the following year.
iii. Elect members of the Executive Committee.
B. Extraordinary General Meetings
Extraordinary General Meeting of the Bureau may be called for by at least one third of all members. The procedure governing Extraordinary General Meetings shall be that of the ordinary General Meetings.
C. The Executive Committee
1. Consists of the persons elected or approved by the members of the General Meeting to conduct the affairs of Bureau to achieve its objectives.
2. At present it shall consist of no more than (5) five members and will itself choose:

Treasurer
Liaison Officer
Responsibility of the Executive Committee
1. Prepare a program of activities of the Bureau, determine priorities and the means by which it will be carried out.
2. Submitting the accounts to the General Meeting.
3. Set a date for the General Meeting.
4. Decide upon membership.
5. Propose any amendments to the constitution of the Bureau for approval by the General Meeting.
Dissolution
By Extraordinary General Meeting the Bureau may be dissolved and any remaining funds will be given to a designated charity that has similar objectives.

- Provision and dissemination of credible current information about Iraq principally for the period post the invasion of 14 April 2003.
- It does not accept any religious, ethnic or sectarian bias, and will work towards healing the wounds left by the current government and its agents.
- Procuring and commissioning studies about the current actions by the government in Baghdad especially in respect of human rights abuses.
- Re-creating the National Iraqi archive.
B. Activities
- Utilising the media avenues available through setting up a website.
- Holding conferences, seminars and lectures.
- Raising funds exclusively for achieving the above objectives.
Membership
