ANOTHER IRANIAN MAJOR GENERAL KILLED IN IRAQ

Iranian intelligence agent for Qods Force" of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, Major General Reza Hosseini, killed in crossfire in Samarra, Salahuddin province.

Local official from Salahuddin stated Hosseini's death most likely occurred during confrontations with the self-styled Islamic State group's [IS] close to the northern road which between the cities of Samarra and Baji.

The official, who declined to be named, said: "Iran's revolutionary guards will now intensify its presence in Samarra, because of the sanctity of the Shiite communities and the militia groups both of who retain large power in the Iraqi judiciary"

He also noted how in recent month the areas within Salahuddin province were witnessing intensified attacks, carried out by IS, particularly since the group seized control over the Baji's oil refinery.

ISTANBUL — The much ballyhooed Iraqi government operation to capture the central city of Tikrit from the Islamic State has stalled three weeks after it began, amid widespread reports that Shiite Muslim militias and the government are badly divided over tactics and roiled by claims that the militias have engaged in war crimes against the local Sunni Muslim population.

A two-day pause supposedly intended to give the Iraqi government time to bring up reinforcements has stretched into a week, as reports circulate that Iraqi government troops and the militias took heavier than anticipated casualties in their first efforts to dislodge Islamic State fighters. At least 1,000 militiamen died in the early days of fighting, according to some reports, roughly 5 percent of the 20,000 men the militias have committed to the operation.

Even during the pause, pro-government casualties remain high. A witness in the main government hospital at the nearby city of Samarra said that at least 100 dead or wounded fighters had been brought in over the last four days and that “bodies are everywhere” at the facility. The witness asked to remain anonymous for security reasons.

Difficulties with the Tikrit operation underscore how unlikely it is that the Iraqi military will be in any position soon to launch an assault to recapture Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city, which fell to the Islamic State last June. A U.S. military officer in February created a stir when he told reporters at the Pentagon that such an assault might come as soon as April. Pentagon officials later acknowledged that Iraqi troops might not be in such a position before the fall.

More images are surfacing on social media of Iraqi Government and its Iran born Militias adopting the usage of child soldiers to fight their wars.

This trend reminds Iraqis of the trend that the the late Ayatollah Khomeini accepted back in the 1980s in the first war (Iran Iraq War).

This coming from a government that boasts a a good human rights record in every International tour and opportunity.

MILITIA BRUTALITY RIFE IN IRAQ

Crimes of this nature, when carried out by the Islamic State Group, are commonly reported about in the media. Yet when crimes of an identical nature are carried out by sectarian Shi'i militias, they rarely receive equal attention. Local media agencies wrongly portray militia squads as angels of mercy and agents of peace.

The below evidence places these such interpretations and claims into serious question. Contrary to the widely held belief that militias provide stability to Iraq, below images of brutally severed heads exposing the crimes enacted by Imam Ali Brigade may suggest otherwise. In the video below a militia openly admits to his crime in front of large crowds.

The faces of the perpetrators faces are unmasked and could be easily identified with the help of an effective and transparent system of justice in Iraq.

Many of these crimes are dressed up in religious claims and in the name of one, or another, form of Islam. These groups use Islam to barter and terrorize others. On that basis, these terrorist do not share any relation to Ali bin Abi-Talal. His name and the name of other revered Islamic figures should in no way be soaked in the blood spilled at the hands of these criminal gangs.

Financial plan of action or wilful violation of Iraqi laws?

Less than months have passed since private discussions were held in London between Kurdish officials and fixed-income account investors, and yet the Kurdish Regional Government [KRG] continues to tread the thin line between legality and illegality.

Rumour has it the KRG is scouring the international business landscape in the hope it can negotiate desirable investments from the likes of Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs, who, has Reuters reported, coordinated the talks back in October last year.

While it is apparent that no deal has yet been brokered, less apparent are the intentions of the Kurdish officials who met with fixed-income account holders.

A DAY OF LOVE AND LOSS LOSS AL-AMIRIYYA MASSACRE, IRAQ 13/02/1991

Twenty four years ago a heinous crime took place at Al-Amiriyyah bomb shelter (Iraq, Baghdad) on 13.02.1991. This War Crime has forever become etched into the memory of Iraqis worldwide. The site of the massacre, known to American military personnel as Al-Firdos C3 bunker, is where 403 to 500 innocent Iraqis, 142 of whom were children, were slain in cold blood.

One eye-witness recalled how he saw with his own eyes "women, children, and the elderly burnt like black coal, families wiped out, screams echoing around what remained of the shelter's walls". Iraq's health minister at the time, Abdel Salam Mohamed Saeed, described the precision bombing was a well-planned and intended crime.

Today, as the world celebrates a day of love and adoration, the thick of the pain borne out from this massacre continues to loom large. The incident was no friendly fire accident, but rather a premeditated massacre for which Iraqis paid the heaviest price.

America, then, was quick to counter allegations against it, at the time claiming, contrary to the reality, that it believed the site was not a bomb shelter but a military command center. However, the facts run counter to America defenses, since no prior warning was given to those seeking refuge at the bomb shelter. US military forces first struck with missiles, and later intensified attacks with use of laser-guided smart bombs.

Patriotc Iraqi groups and factions, in addition to groups from the Resistance and the Revolution as well as factions from youth activists all of whom participate in the patriotic project, met together in a wide meeting to deal with the Abadi government announcement concerning its intention to convene a reconciliation conference in mid- February.

While we emphasize that reconciliation is the correct route to build a state in which justice and equality prevail , that achieves stability and balance that would produce prosperity and progress; on this occasion, however, we would like to point out that our experience over the past long 10 years with both the 1st and 2nd Maliki governments as well as that of the Ja’afari before them, has completely lost us any trust in any governmental actor.

Whatever commitments are made by them, or whatever reform announcements are made, as a result of past experience, these would never be; these would be just empty promises and false allegations that the governments used to announce and continues to do so, to mislead international public opinion as well as to gain more time for these governments to push through their agenda and to complete its sectarian project that Tehran is directly supervising and that also has the blessing of the US and the silence of the international community.

Thus since the first government reconciliation initiative was launched in 2005, and to date, no change has ever taken place in the practice of exclusion, disqualification and expulsion that the government carries out in the country’s governance and administration.
