DATE: COMING SOON TIME 18:00 - 21:00
The Foreign Relation Bureau, Iraq, would like to invite you to our focus groups regarding recent and historic developments in Iraq, and the way in which these are covered by mainstream press and political figures within the UK government. It will last anywhere between 2 to 3 hours, depending on attendance and pace.
The focus group intends to open up a safe space in which Iraq concerned parties can exchange knowledge and share attitudes about recent happenings in the country. We feel that it is time to bridge the divide between the Arab and English speaking communities that exist in detachment from one another. We hope to hear more from British groups about how they view the current situation and ways they think they can assist in building solidarity with Iraq. The silence and apathy we see today is a far cry from the millions that rallied against the Iraq war in 2003.
The focus group will provide you with an opportunity to hear from Iraqis (that oppose war, indiscriminate attacks against civilians and seek to preserve the sovereignty of Iraq) what is happening inside Iraq, and how they wish to help.
Your participation and insight will allow us to better understand popular British attitudes on Iraq, so as to overcome prevalent stereotypes. If you would like to take part please confirm your attendance below.
Further information about the focus group will be circulated after confirmations have been received.
